Privacy Policy
Short version: nothing is stored in a database — not your tokens, not your tracks, not your cover.
What Pressed accesses
When you connect your Spotify account, Pressed requests read-only access to:
- Your basic profile (display name and profile picture).
- Your top tracks over the time window you select.
- Your recently played tracks, used only to build the "Last 7 days" view (Spotify doesn't offer that window directly).
Pressed never requests write access, and cannot modify your library, playlists, follows, or playback in any way.
What isn't stored
Pressed has no database. There is nowhere for your data to persist beyond the request that's using it:
- Your Spotify access and refresh tokens live only in an
httpOnlysession cookie tied to your browser — they are never exposed to page scripts, and are cleared when you log out or after 24 hours, whichever comes first. - Your tracks, top artists, and profile info are fetched fresh from Spotify each time and are never written to disk or any external store.
- The album cover and exported image are drawn entirely in your browser. They only leave your device if you personally choose to click "Download cover" and save the file yourself.
Advertising
Pressed shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve and personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and manage your ad preferences, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Not affiliated with Spotify
Pressed is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify AB. Your Spotify credentials are entered on Spotify's own login page during the connect flow — Pressed never sees your password. Album artwork and metadata remain the property of their respective owners.
